That was a cool video! It didn't occur to me that nice old ladies could be teaching you to cook real authentic Peruvian food (not just deep-fried guinea pigs). Super cool!

This is my address in Cajamarca. The Serpost is in Chota which is about 1 hour away from me. I go in to Chota once or twice a month. I have been warned that packages that are not in padded envelopes will absolutely not make it through customs. I consider myself to be a fair to good pen pal- and I'm sure I will improve with practice.

The Peace Corps office staff recently suggested that if someone is sending a box/package in the mail it would be better to send it to the Lima office. Then the Peace Corps Lima office will send it up to my post office, thus by-passing the worst of the customs authorities.
